Data processing on this website

This is a private, non-commercial blog. It collects as little data as possible by design:

Analytics (only with your consent). The site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. Analytics is only activated after you explicitly accept the cookie banner. It processes pseudonymous usage data (e.g. pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type) on behalf of Google. If you decline or do not answer, no analytics data is collected. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. See Google’s privacy policy for details on how Google processes this data.

Embedded videos. Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced ("nocookie") mode, which loads no cookies until you play a video.

Server logs. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, time of request) for technical and security purposes.

Contact. If you send me an email, the data you provide (email address, content of the message) is used only to respond to your request.

Cookies

The only locally stored value this site uses is your analytics consent choice, kept in your browser's local storage. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
